Anglican Fixes Date For Four Bishops-Elect’s Consecration, Presentation of Dean and Two Archbishops

Consecration for the four Bishops- Elect, presentation of two Archbishops and Dean- elect of the Church of Nigeria Anglican Communion have been slated for 27 August 2023 .The service will be hosted by the Diocese of Lagos West, at the Archbishop Vining Memorial Church Cathedral Ikeja .

It will be beam  live on Advent Cable Network Nigeria (ACNNTV) to all  subscribers in Nigeria and worldwide.  Others can also watch on all social media handles namely; Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and AVO TV.

“PRESS RELEASE
Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion to Consecrate Four Bishops-Elect in August

The Primate of the Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion, His Grace, The Most Rev’d Henry C. Ndukuba has approved the consecration service of the newly elected bishops for Sunday, August 27th 2023 to be hosted by the Diocese of Lagos West, Lagos State.
Recall that after a successful Episcopal Synod held at the Basilica of Grace Anglican Church, Abuja on Tuesday 6th June 2023, Primate Ndukuba announced the election of four new bishops to fill vacant sees, Two newly elected Archbishops for Lagos and Kaduna Provinces and the Dean-elect of the Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion.
The service which will hold at the Archbishop Vining Memorial Church Cathedral will be live on Advent Cable Network Nigeria (ACNNTV).
To be consecrated are; The Venerable Collins Babalola for Ajayi Crowther Diocese, The Venerable Festus Nwafili for Ndokwa Diocese, The Venerable Ifedola Okupevi for Lagos Diocese and, The Venerable Ebenezer Saiki for Akoko-Edo Diocese.
To be presented are; Dean-Elect, The Most Rev’d Dr. Blessing Enyindah, Two Archbishop-Elects; The Most Rev’d Dr. Michael Fape of Remo Diocese for Lagos Province and, The Rt. Rev’d Timothy Yahaya of Kaduna Diocese for Kaduna Province.
The Primate calls for prayers for the newly elected Bishops and Archbishops as they go into their new places of assignments and for a safe travel for all attendees of this service.
