Arsenal star Alexandre Lacazette couldn’t resist a dig at Brentford striker Ivan Toney after the Gunners’ victory against the Bees on Saturday.

Brentford beat Arsenal 2-0 on the opening weekend of the season, making a sensational start to their first campaign in the Premier League.

The ease of their victory convinced striker Toney to take to Twitter to mock the Gunners, describing the win as a ‘nick kick about with the boys’.

Toney has been outspoken about Arsenal in the past and his remarks irked supporters.

But it’s clear that the players hadn’t forgotten either as Lacazette bit back at Toney after the side’s 2-1 win against the Bees at the Emirates.

Lacazette tweeted the exact same thing as Toney did in August but followed it up with the ‘kiss’ emoji.
