Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain talks displaying Lionel Messi’s shirt at home in hilarious Liverpool Carpool with Jordan Henderson and Andy Robertson

By popular demand, Liverpool’s Carpool Karaoke is back.

This latest instalment is just called LFC Carpool because you’ll notice that participants Jordan Henderson, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Andy Robertson don’t actually break into song at any point.

Nevertheless, there are still a number of hilarious moments as the teammates discuss a range of topics including why Lionel Messi’s shirt is the only one Oxlade-Chamberlain has displayed in his home.

There’s a priceless moment where Henderson asks Oxlade-Chamberlain when he plans to marry long-term girlfriend popstar Perrie Edwards as the club captain and Robertson have already tied the knot.

Trent Alexander-Arnold, who’s got something of a bromance with fellow full-back Robertson, also made an appearance via a phone call.

The 21-year-old was asked to choose who he’d rather share a house with and who he’d rather be stranded in the wilderness with out of Henderson and Robertson.

Below you can find out how Alexander-Arnold answered these questions and what else the Liverpool stars talked about.

It’s been a wonderful season for Liverpool, who won a first league title in 30 years.

They’ll lift the Premier League trophy for the first time after they face Chelsea at Anfield on Wednesday night.

And Henderson issued a plea to fans to celebrate what will be an iconic moment in the comfort of their home.

He said: “It’s gutting for all of us that our fans are not with us in person, but we can still make this one of the most enjoyable shared experiences we’ve ever had if we want it to be.

“If anyone reads this column or these words prior to the evening of the match, I cannot say clearly enough it is critically important you stay away from Anfield and enjoy celebrating with us in your own way, at home.

“If anyone reads this column or these words prior to the evening of the match, I cannot say clearly enough it is critically important you stay away from Anfield and enjoy celebrating with us in your own way, at home.

“The city of Liverpool has been hit hard by COVID-19 and it’s important we support our healthcare heroes – the emergency services and key workers – by listening to the advice and staying away from gatherings which aren’t safe.

“I promise you: we will feel you with us when we lift that trophy, even though you’re not at Anfield in person.

“We are lifting it for you – you’ve driven us to achieving this dream. But this club’s values are about taking care of each other and that means supporting us from home and in safe environments.”
