The England international has been at Anfield since moving from Arsenal in 2017, although he has been limited to just 137 appearances, partly due to a string of injuries, but also the competition in the Liverpool midfield.
The 29-year-old has made just three Premier League appearances this season, all coming from the bench, while he has not been involved in the Champions League at all.
The Reds are expected to revamp their midfield in the summer and Oxlade-Chamberlain is not going to be part of the plans.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports that Liverpool have no plans to offer the midfielder a new deal, which would leave him free to sign elsewhere next summer.
Despite injury frustrations it has been a successful time for Oxlade-Chamberlain at Liverpool in terms of trophies, winning the Premier League and Champions League with the Reds.
The 2019-20 season saw Liverpool win their first and only Premier League title so far and that was his most prolific season in terms of appearances, playing 43 times in all competitions and scoring eight goals.
Oxlade-Chamberlain will still be 29 years old when his Liverpool contract expires, so he will hope to earn himself a contract in the Premier League or another top division.
His injury record will put off some clubs, but with 35 caps for England, his quality is not in question.
