Nigerian winger, Moses Simon, has wished Egyptian defender, Akram Tawfik, a quick recovery following the injury he sustained during the Super Eagles 1-0 win over the North Africans.
The Al Ahly defender got himself injured in the 9th minute while trying to stop Simon from crossing the ball.
Tawfik was consequently replaced in the 14th minute by Monem.
The injury has now been confirmed to be a serious one on the defender.
Simon shared a video on Instagram via the Super Eagles page, saying, “Hello, my name is Moses Simon, Nigerian Super Eagles player. I just want to wish the Egyptian player Akram Tawfik all the best.
“I wish you a quick recovery, please be strong.”
