ADC gov candidate condoles with PDP, APC

The Delta State governorship candidate under the platform of Action Democratic Party, Mr. Emmanuel Ogba, has expressed deep shock and grief over the tragic death of PDP chieftain, Chief Joe Unuame and the boat mishap of APC supporters in the state.

Chief Unuame had reportedly died in a car accident with his driver along Ughelli/Patani road during the PDP campaign trip to Patani while two supporters of APC died and three still missing in a boat mishap on their return from the party campaign rally in Okerenkoko, Warri South West area of the state.

Ogba in a condolence message signed by the Director of Communications and Mobilisation, ADP Campaign Organisation Delta State, Mr. Solomon Igun on Friday in Asaba.

“We express our deepest condolences to the family of Chief Joe Unuame in particular and the Delta State PDP in general and pray that the Almighty comforts them and grants them the fortitude to bear the loss.

“In the same vain, we also commensurate with the Delta State governorship candidate and Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo- Agege and the entire Delta State APC campaign council on the loss of their supporters in a boat mishap,” the message read.

Ogba expressed his heart felt condolences to the families of the victims and prayed that God grants them the fortitude to bear the losses in these trying times.
