In his response, the State Coordinator, Mr. Kubiangha, welcomed the delegation and commended the initiative, describing it as a step in the right direction towards enhancing service delivery and professional training.

He sought clarification on the operational relationship between the University of Ilesa and the Teaching Hospital, especially regarding students’ academic and clinical training processes, to which Professor Adeleke explained that medical students transition to the Teaching Hospital for clinical training after completing initial academic coursework.

Kubiangha assured the management of the hospital that NYSC would consider incorporating the institution into its Corps Members posting framework, adding that an assessment team would be deployed to evaluate the facility, while emphasising the need to prioritise the welfare of Corps Members when postings commence.
