The Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno, has extended warm felicitations to Muslim faithful across the state and Nigeria at large on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan.

In a goodwill message released by the Media Unit, Government House, the governor congratulated Muslims for successfully completing the period of fasting, prayer, and spiritual reflection, describing it as a demonstration of discipline, faith, and devotion.

Governor Eno emphasized that the values embodied during Ramadan—love, peace, unity, and tolerance—should not end with the celebration but continue to shape society and guide collective national progress.

“May love, peace, unity and tolerance continue to define our collective purpose,” the governor stated.

He further called on citizens of Akwa Ibom State, regardless of religious affiliation, to embrace peaceful coexistence and mutual respect, noting that sustainable development can only thrive in an atmosphere of unity and stability.
