The attention of Timi In- Council has been drawn to a video purportedly released and shared on various social media platforms by a faceless lady on the allegation of double standard by our highly revered Royal Father.
To set the record straight, the purportedly jettisoned of the ambition of Asiwaju of Ede land, and the incumbent Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke by the Timi of Ede land, HIM, Oba Dr Munirudeen Adesola Lawal, Laminisa 1, is a figment of imagination concocted by some disgruntled elements and agents of fake news, who are hell bent to disrupt the peaceful atmosphere currently pervading in our domain.
Let me state this without any fear of contradiction, the palace has been enjoying a tremendous support from Adeleke’s dynasty since my assumption of the throne of my forebears, dated 2008 during the period of late Asiwaju of Ede land, Alhaji Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke, and to the glory of God, the incumbent Governor and his siblings Dr. Tajudeen Adedeji Adeleke and Yeyeluwa of Ede land, Chief Mrs Modupe Adeleke Sanni has been a blessing to Ede Traditional Council
As the saying goes, ” THERE’S NO BIG TOWN ANYWHERE, BUT IT IS THE GOLDEN SON THAT MAKES A TOWN POPULAR”
Let me use this medium to appreciate all sons and daughters of the community for their unflinching support to their monarch and the entire Ede township generally.
May I also appeal to all politicians irrespective of their political affiliation to shun any forms of propaganda capable of heating up the polity, let us imbibe the spirit of oneness and join hands in order to make the second term of Governor Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke a reality
May Almighty God grant all our supplications, and make Ede township a better place to live.
