According to him, some former political office holders perceived to be his supporters, including Bamidele Gbayigi, Omotehinse Abraham, Adelodun Bosede and Ogunjobi Busayo, among others, were being denied their legitimate allowances.

Newspot reports that the allegations come amid heightened tensions within Ekiti APC ahead of the 20 June governorship election.

Mr Ojo and another aspirant were reportedly disqualified from the party’s primary, clearing incumbent Governor Biodun Oyebanji as the consensus candidate.

Supporters of disqualified aspirants, including Mr Ojo, have previously raised concerns over intimidation and threats during internal party arrangements, with some calling for intervention by national party leadership.

The Police Public Relations Officer of the Ekiti State Command, Sunday Abutu could not be reached for comment at the time of this report.
