The Director of the Department of Police Investigation at the Police Service Commission (PSC), Mrs. Anuli Elfreda Okoli, JP, has formally retired from public service after attaining the statutory retirement age of 60, marking the end of a distinguished and impactful career in policing and public administration.
Mrs. Okoli bowed out after decades of meritorious service marked by professionalism, integrity, and unwavering commitment to institutional development within the Police Service Commission. As Director of Police Investigation, she played a critical role in strengthening internal accountability, oversight, and investigative standards within the Nigeria Police ecosystem.
Her retirement ceremony also coincided with her 60th birthday celebration, drawing warm tributes from colleagues, associates, and stakeholders who praised her dedication, expertise, and steady leadership over the years. Many described her tenure as one defined by diligence, fairness, and an uncommon sense of duty.
In a goodwill message, Mr. Tijani Adediwura Ishola of the Press and Public Relations Unit, Police Service Commission, commended Mrs. Okoli’s invaluable contributions to the Commission, noting that her professionalism and institutional memory would be deeply missed.
