The Golden State Warriors have added another lethal shooter to their roster—this time from within the Curry family. Seth Curry, who led the NBA in three-point percentage last season, has officially joined the Warriors, creating one of the most prolific shooting brother partnerships in league history.

Curry, an 11-year NBA veteran, arrives with sterling credentials. He ranks eighth on the NBA’s all-time leaderboard for career three-point percentage at 43.3%, placing him ahead of his brother Stephen Curry, who sits 13th at 42.3%. Last season, Seth topped the entire league in accuracy from deep, hitting 45.6% on 2.7 attempts per game.

The move represents a full-circle moment for Seth, who began his professional journey with the Warriors organization, initially appearing in preseason games before joining Santa Cruz in the G League. Now, he returns to Chase Center as a seasoned scorer with proven playoff pedigree—averaging 11.6 points, 52.4% FG, and a remarkable 46.8% from beyond the arc across 41 career playoff games.

Beyond the symbolism, the signing brings historic statistical weight. Stephen and Seth Curry are now one of only three pairs of brothers in NBA history to combine for more than 30,000 career points—Stephen with 25,832 and Seth with 5,476. When combined with Dell Curry’s contributions, the Curry family forms the highest-scoring immediate family in NBA history with 43,978 total points.

Speaking to NBC Sports Bay Area, Seth reflected on the competitive fire that shaped his career.
“Being a younger brother gave me another leg up and an edge to get to where I am today,” he said. “I always had somebody I was chasing to be as good as or better than—not only in basketball.”

The Warriors, who currently lead the NBA in made threes per game (15.9) and rank second in attempts (44.2), will welcome Seth’s elite efficiency as they sit tied for 14th in team three-point percentage (35.9%). His movement shooting style mirrors that of his father more than Stephen—an off-ball threat who excels in spotting up from the wings and corners.

Curry says joining the Warriors feels natural:
“I feel like I’ve been a part of Dub Nation for a while, watching Steph and being around the organization. They, like any team, could use more shooting.”

After witnessing Stephen’s historic run of four championships, Seth now has a chance to carve out his own chapter with the franchise. With his shooting precision and postseason experience, he could become a critical weapon as the Warriors chase more milestones in the Bay Area.
