Nigerian global music star, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has praised Akwa Ibom State for its exceptional infrastructure and hospitality, stating that the state’s development rivals what is obtainable in the United States.
Davido, who is currently in Akwa Ibom as part of his ongoing musical tour, made the remark during a joint courtesy visit to the Senate President, His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Godswill Akpabio, GCON, and the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno, Ph.D.
Speaking with enthusiasm, Davido expressed admiration for the state’s transformation, its welcoming atmosphere, and its cultural richness.
“The facilities in Akwa Ibom State are comparable to what we have seen in the United States. This state has everything we need. I look forward to eating Affang soup,” Davido said.
