Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) is set to upgrade its Business Class travel experience by expanding airport lounge access across Europe and Scandinavia. The move, which coincides with the airline’s one-year membership in the SkyTeam alliance, reinforces SAS’s commitment to providing world-class services for premium travelers.
Wider Lounge Network for Business Class Travelers
From October 1, 2025, SAS Business Class passengers will gain access to 35 new partner lounges at major destinations. Agreements have already been secured in Bergen, Helsinki, Billund, Stavanger, and Aalborg.
Theres Briger, Head of Onground Product at SAS, highlighted the importance of the expansion:
“This is a comprehensive upgrade of our Business Class offer, with lounge access as a key part of the experience. By partnering with established lounge operators, we can quickly give our customers access to a much broader network at important destinations across Europe and Scandinavia.”
New Destinations on the Horizon
Additional lounges are being secured at high-demand travel hubs, including Nice, Malaga, Palma, Lisbon, Venice, Florence, Naples, Malta, Madrid, Milan Linate, Manchester, Edinburgh, Prague, Krakow, and Keflavik.
Strengthening the SAS Premium Experience
The expansion underscores SAS’s long-term strategy of enhancing its Business Class services and aligning with SkyTeam alliance standards. The improvements will deliver greater comfort, convenience, and exclusivity for premium travelers across the continent.
With this step, SAS cements its position as a leading airline for Business Class passengers in Europe, delivering a seamless premium journey both in the air and on the ground.
