The All Progressives Congress (APC) has won the Egume/Dekina state constituency by-election in Kogi state held on Saturday.
The Returning Officer, Prof. Emmanuel Onoja Eneche, declared Yakubu the APC candidate, Musa Hassan Yakubu as the winner with 55,073 votes.
Godwin Meliga of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), polled 1,038 votes, while Egene Joseph Ugbede of the APM garnered 445 votes, Amos Ahaiba of ADC scored 141, Rilwan Mudi of the SDP had 5 votes, and Yakubu Ugbede of AA managed 16 votes.
