During plenary on Tuesday, the lawmakers accused Governor Dauda Lawal of neglecting communities affected by the violence, alleging that his administration is more focused on political ambitions than addressing insecurity.

Moving a motion, Hon. Bashir Abubakar Masama (Bukkuyum North) said bandits have repeatedly attacked Adapka, Zauma, Gwashi, and Mayanchi along the Bukkuyum road.

Hon. Bashir Bello Sarkin Zango (Bungudu West) added that Gidan Bugaje, Zaman Gida, Kukan Nine, and Gidan Dan-inna have become “war zones” where entering is considered suicidal.
