The former candidates, in a press briefing addressed on their behalf by the Benue State gubernatorial candidate in 2023, Engr Terhemen Tilley-Gyado, also called on their coalition partners to follow due process.

They believe that this would ensure stability and continuity within the ADC, as they insist that no non-members would be allowed to hold any position in the party.

Advising the coalition leaders such Atiku Abubakar, Chibuike Amaechi,  Peter Obi, David Mark, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, Abubakar Malami SAN, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola among others, the former governorship candidates said they should adhere strictly to due process.

They urged them to take the needed steps of formally resigning from their previous political parties, and register as bona fide members of the ADC at their respective Ward levels.

“We welcome all constructive partnerships anchored on transparency, legality, and shared vision,” they added.
