The Backlash from the Traore/ Kemi Badenock exchange on Social Media is going to be the last straw that breaks the Camel’s Back for the political ambition and aspirations of a woman who has had the potential to become the first Black and African Prime Minister of Great Britain in World History.
The minority leader of the British Conservative Party had demonstrated poor judgment in picking the wrong fight he could never win with a firebrand and youthful President Ibrahim Traore of Burkina Faso.
Leadership is not measured by how many friends you have as imagined by President Tinubu, for having the temerity to question the wisdom of nominating Traore as a candidate for the Nobel Laureate, it is determined by by how many truth a born leader has helped the whole world to appreciate, digest and to truly understand and assimilate.
It is now clear to me and arguably to the whole world that Kemi Badenock has irredeemably damaged her chances as a rising politician in Great Britain and would forever remain a persona non grata and prophet without honor in her home away from her home in the UK.
The development is a tragedy of unmitigated proportion for a politician of Kemi’s stature and caliber, all things considered.
Kemi Badenock compared to Heavy Weight Boxing Champion Anthony Joshua who was also born and raised in the UK pretty much like Kemi, had done herself a big disfavor and had given herself a black eye by exercising very poor judgment as a world leader of consequence.
