The Minister of Budget and National Planning, Atiku Bagudu, has assured that the North is fully represented in President Bola Tinubu’s government and has nothing to fear or regret.
Speaking on Wednesday during a technical session at the Government–Citizens’ Engagement in Kaduna, Bagudu said Tinubu’s administration is fair, inclusive, and committed to national unity.
“There is no systemic discrimination in this government. We are fully involved and working to protect the North’s interests.”
He dismissed claims of marginalisation, urging Northerners not to fall for divisive narratives.
He added that appointments under Tinubu were based on merit and national character.
Bagudu also said Tinubu inherited a struggling economy and is making bold reforms to fix it under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
