Fellow Nigerians,
My name is Otunba Babatunde Olushola Senbanjo (BOS). I’m not writing this as a politician, nor as a member of any special group — but as one of you. A citizen. A father. A Nigerian who can no longer keep quiet.
What happened in 2023 was a digital ambush, not a democratic process.
It wasn’t free. It wasn’t fair. It wasn’t credible. It was a national shame.
We were robbed.
Our votes were manipulated.
Our trust was abused.
And our silence was used as a tool against us.
That silence ends now.
The systems that were meant to protect our democracy were turned against us. The technology that was supposed to ensure transparency became a weapon. And those in power used it — not to serve — but to stay.
This is not about parties. This is about people. About truth. About justice.
To the Judiciary:
You are not above the people. You are not beyond question. You are not immune from the consequences of betrayal. When you use legal power to install those who do not reflect the will of the people, you are part of the problem. Justice is not blindfolded to be bribed. It is blindfolded to stay impartial.
We are watching. And we will remember.
To the political elite:
You sit in luxury while millions suffer. You laugh in the face of hunger, joblessness, broken roads, broken hospitals, and broken hopes. You think you are untouchable, but the tide is shifting. This country will not be your inheritance. Nigeria is not your family estate.
We are taking it back.
In 2027, things will not go the way they went in 2023. We will organize. We will mobilize. We will vote. And we will defend that vote with every lawful means available. We are not the same people you fooled last time.
We are angry — but we are clear-headed.
We are hurt — but we are stronger.
We are not spectators anymore.
We are the storm you didn’t expect.
This message is not for the timid. It is for those who know that change only comes when you stop begging and start building. To the youth, the workers, the market women, the civil servants, the students, the artisans — the time to wait is over.
We will not allow a repeat of 2023.
Not in 2027.
Not ever again.
We are awake.
We are angry.
We are united.
And we are ready.
