Member of Hamas’s political bureau, Izzat al-Risheq, has warned that whoever attacks amid the ongoing war between Israel and Iran will pay the price.
Al-Risheq gave the warning while insisting that Iran’s latest retaliatory attack against Israel was a clear message.
Recall that Iran had launched missile strikes targeting different parts of Israel on Friday and early Saturday morning.
Images posted online revealed homes destroyed and others with partial damage.
Israel’s national EMS said it was treating and evacuating 21 persons after a rocket strike in the country’s coastal plain.
This comes after the Israeli military carried out dozens of airstrikes on Iran.
Speaking on the development, Al-Risheq said in a statement shared on Hamas’s official Telegram account: “Dozens of precision missiles and drones successfully hit their targets deep inside the entity, despite all the hype about Israel’s defence system.
“The message of the response is clear: whoever attacks will pay the price.”
