On this sacred occasion of Eid-el-Kabir, I, Otunba Babatunde Olushola Senbanjo , fondly known as BOS ( Mr. Transformation ), extend my warmest greetings, heartfelt prayers, and best wishes to all Muslims across Ogun State, Nigeria, and the world at large.
Eid-el-Kabir, the festival of sacrifice, is not just a celebration of faith, but a profound reminder of the virtues that bind us together as a people: obedience, devotion, humility, unity, and selfless giving. As we commemorate the unwavering faith of Prophet Ibrahim (AS), let us also reflect on our individual and collective responsibilities to our communities.
To the beautiful and culturally vibrant people of Ojude Oba, I salute your rich traditions, colorful celebrations, and unwavering loyalty to your heritage and faith. Year after year, the Ojude Oba festival showcases the beauty of harmony between tradition and modernity a true emblem of unity in diversity. May this year’s Eid bring even more peace, blessings, and cultural pride to the Ijebu people and all who gather in joy.
To our brothers and sisters in the diaspora, though distance may separate you from the homeland, your spirit remains with us. Your resilience, your contributions to the development of our dear state from abroad, and your unshakable connection to our roots continue to inspire us. Eid Mubarak to each and every one of you.
As we celebrate, let us not forget the core teachings of this season compassion for the less privileged, the strengthening of family ties, and the pursuit of justice, equity, and transformation for all. In the spirit of Eid, may we come together as one Ogun State united across tribes, religions, and classes to build a better, more inclusive future.
I reaffirm my commitment as BOS 2027 – Mr. Transformation to stand with you in this journey of progress, to empower our youth, support our women, protect our elderly, and restore dignity and development to every ward, every LGA, and every heart in Ogun State.
May Allah (SWT) accept our prayers, our sacrifices, and grant us enduring peace, prosperity, and progress. May Ogun State rise, and may her sons and daughters prosper wherever they may be.
