The Government of Osun State is once again engaging directly with its citizens through its flagship public accountability programme, Stewardship, which holds today, Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
According to a press statement issued by the Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Oluomo Kolapo Alimi, the two-hour live radio broadcast will focus on critical areas of state development, with particular attention to Osun Infrastructure Projects and the Osun State University (UNIOSUN).
Alimi, who also serves as the programme’s chief host, confirmed that Dr. B.T. Salam, the Hon. Commissioner for Special Duties and Regional Integration, will feature on the show to discuss the ongoing infrastructure drive across the state under the administration of Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke.
Also scheduled to speak is Professor Odunayo Clement Adebooye, the Vice Chancellor of UNIOSUN, who will provide insights into the university’s progress and the tangible impact of current government policies on the institution.
The Stewardship programme is being broadcast simultaneously on 21 radio stations across Osun State, offering a rare opportunity for citizens to interact with top officials and seek direct answers to their questions about government activities, policies, and service delivery.
This interactive initiative underscores the Adeleke administration’s ongoing commitment to transparency, inclusion, and performance-based governance.
