Inter Milan boss, Simone Inzaghi has suggested why Paris Saint-Germain defeated his team 5-0 in the Champions League final on Saturday night.
Inzaghi watched as goals from Desire Doue (2), Achraf Hakimi, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Senny Mayulu gave the French Ligue 1 champions the victory against Inter in Munich.
Speaking after the game at his post-match interview, 49-year-old Italian suggested that Inter didn’t put in a good display against the Parisians.
Inzaghi, however, expressed dissapointment and sadness over the outcome of the game.
“PSG deserved to win this game and the trophy,” Inzaghi said.
“We’re disappointed, but the path to this point was great. As coach, I am proud of my players.
“The game, of course, was not good enough on our part.
“We are disappointed, sad. The players gave their all,” he stated.
Inter Milan will have to bolster ruie squad this summer transfer window in a bid to try and win the Champions League next season.
