President Donald Trump has once again reignited his long-standing claim that the 2020 U.S. Presidential Election was “rigged and stolen,” targeting top Democratic leaders and accusing them of orchestrating a massive conspiracy against him.
In a fiery post on Truth Social, Trump labeled the House Select Committee investigating the January 6 Capitol riot as an “Unselect Committee of Political Thugs.” He alleged that these individuals were “given a full and complete pardon” by those who, according to him, orchestrated a “vicious witch hunt” to undermine his presidency.
Trump specifically called out former FBI Director James Comey, former President Barack Obama, and current U.S. President Joe Biden, whom he described as “cognitively impaired Sleepy Joe Biden.” The president insisted that his accusation of illegal surveillance on his 2016 campaign, which he described as “They spied on my campaign,” remains one of his most significant claims.
Further deepening his accusations, Trump claimed that the use of an “AUTOPEN” was part of an even larger scandal involving the manipulation of election outcomes. He alleged that critical evidence was “deleted and destroyed,” and that this “historically criminal event” had shattered the lives of many, including his own.
“THE 2020 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION WAS RIGGED! I (MAGA!) WON THE ELECTION BY MILLIONS OF VOTES, AND EVERYONE KNOWS IT. GOD BLESS AMERICA, FOR THE FIGHT HAS JUST BEGUN!!!” Trump declared, rallying his supporters and indicating that his campaign for political redemption is far from over.
Trump’s latest remarks have already sparked a wave of reactions across the political spectrum, with his supporters rallying behind his claims while critics dismiss them as baseless and part of his continued efforts to challenge the legitimacy of the 2020 election.
