PDP to swear in new BoT members Monday

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in a move to reposition itself ahead of 2027 general elections will be swearing in new members of its Board of Trustees, BoT, on Monday.

This was contained in a notice by the party’s Director of Publicity, Chinwe Nnorom, on Sunday night in Abuja.

Newspot reports that the BoT of the party had remained sacrosanct since 2015 with lots of members staying beyond the five-year tenure prescribes by the party’s constitution.

Several members are said to have completely retired from politics while few others are either dead or now in the ruling APC.
