Osun Female Youth Group Slams Ayodele Mercy for Betrayal, Reaffirms Total Loyalty to Governor Adeleke
Osun State, Nigeria – April 30, 2025
The leadership and entire membership of the Osun Female Youth GCC/PCC Group wish to unequivocally reaffirm our total and unwavering support for the progressive administration of Senator (Dr.) Nurudeen Ademola Adeleke, the Executive Governor of Osun State.
In light of recent developments, the group completely dissociates itself from the actions and utterances of Ms. Ayodele Mercy, a former Coordinator of the group, who has not only abandoned the ideals of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) but has also betrayed the very government and platform that once elevated her to political relevance.
It is a matter of public record that Ms. Mercy enjoyed significant benefits and privileges under this administration, including her appointment as the Caretaker Secretary of Obokun Local Government. Her decision to defect from the party and align with anti-progressive forces is nothing short of a shameful act of betrayal.
We view her recent actions and affiliations as self-serving, dishonorable, and entirely out of alignment with the values and goals of our group. Her departure is a clear demonstration of selfishness over collective progress.
