Dr. Bisi Olawunmi, a mass communication scholar, has announced the passing on of his mother, Chief (Mrs.) Oladunmi Olawunmi, aged 101 ( Feb. 7, 1924- Friday, April 18, 2025) She passed on in her hometown Ijebu-Isiwo, in Ijebu-Ode Local Government Area of Ogun State.

She was survived by three children, grand children, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Madam Olawunmi, an industrious trader in her active years lived a fulfilling life . At the point of her death, she was surrounded by one of her daughters and great grand children.
She will be buried tomorrow Saturday , 19th April , 2025 at 2.00pm according to Islamic rites.
