The Ekiti State Government will, on Monday, officially commence a six-day training programme for 100 youths in the state on meter and basic electrical installation.
A statement from the Office of the Ekiti State Commissioner for Wealth Creation and Employment, Otunba Kayode Fasae, made available to journalists in Ado-Ekiti, disclosed that the six-day training programme, scheduled to take place at the Government Technical College, Ado-Ekiti, will commence at 9 am.
The commissioner explained that the training programme is being organised by his ministry in collaboration with the Ekiti State Electricity Regulatory Bureau. It is designed to equip young people in Ekiti State with the skills and knowledge needed to become proficient in meter installation and other basic electrical work.
He stated that the programme will run from Monday, 17 March, to Saturday, 22 March 2025.
