ICPC Boss Urges Nigerian Students to Be Agents of Change at Iconic Event

In a powerful address at the National Civic Club Competition, Dr. Musa Adamu Aliyu, SAN, Chairman of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), emphasized the pivotal role Nigerian students play as agents of change in society. The event, organized by Connected Development (CODE) in Abuja, brought together secondary school students from across the nation to foster civic engagement and highlight the importance of ethical leadership.

Dr. Aliyu commended CODE for its dedication to encouraging transparency and civic responsibility among the youth. He stated, “The fight against corruption is not merely a legal battle, but a moral imperative that requires active participation of every citizen.” His remarks underscored the necessity of instilling values of integrity and accountability in the younger generation, which he sees as essential for a thriving Nigeria.

He highlighted the competition’s goal of nurturing active citizenship among young Nigerians, emphasizing the importance of promoting transparency and accountability from a young age.
