Yobe State governor Mai Mala Buni has approved the appointment of over 200 youths as Focal Persons, Senior Special Assistants, Special Assistants, and Technical Assistants on Media.
This is contained in a statement issued on Tuesday by the governor’s Senior Special Assistant Digital and Strategic Communications, Yusuf Ali.
The statement said the appointments underscores the governor’s commitment to promoting youth inclusion in the administration and leveraging their innovative ideas to enhance the government’s communication strategies.
“The appointments reflect the administration’s resolve to provide opportunities for young talents to contribute to the development of Yobe State.
“This unprecedented appointment serves as another testament to Governor Buni’s leadership style, which prioritizes inclusion, innovation, and human capital development”, Ali said.
He said the appointees are expected to assume their responsibilities immediately, bringing fresh energy and ideas to the administration’s media and communication efforts.
