Journalist Anton Mena has claimed that Kylian Mbappé and Vinícius Jr are not on good terms at Real Madrid.
According to him, the two superstars fake brotherhood on the pitch while clashing off it.
Mena told Cadena SER that Brazil international Vinícius Jr and his French teammate are unhappy with each other.
He added that the duo cannot even stand each other off the pitch, and that this situation is affecting Real Madrid during matches.
Real Madrid are level on points with Barcelona in the LaLiga table, with the Catalans having a game in hand.
Mena told Forbes: “They want to sell us a brotherhood that doesn’t exist. From what I see, that hurts Madrid’s game. The two do not look for each other and do not find each other.”
Mbappé joined the Spanish capital club last summer and has played 34 matches alongside Vinícius Jr.
Both players have combined to score just five goals—two from the Brazilian and three from the Frenchman.
Recall that former Marseille player Eric Di Meco had earlier this year spoken about Kylian Mbappé and Vinícius Jr.
He said that it was always going to be difficult for the Frenchman to settle at the Santiago Bernabéu.
