The United States President, Donald Trump, has warned that anyone found wanting in regard to illegal protests in the country will be imprisoned.
The president, who made the announcement on Tuesday via a post on his official Truth Social account, also threatened to cut all federal funding for any academic institution that engages in illegal protests.
According to Trump, American students caught in illegal protests will be permanently expelled, while foreigners will be “sent back” to their country of origin.
He wrote, “All Federal Funding will STOP for any College, School, or University that allows illegal protests.
“Agitators will be imprisoned or permanently sent back to the country from which they came.
“American students will be permanently expelled or, depending on the crime, arrested. NO MASKS! Thank you for your attention to this matter.”
