Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni, has approved the adjustment of official working hours in the public service for the holy month of Ramadan.
This was disclosed in a statement issued on Tuesday by the Chief Information Officer, Office of the Head of Service, Alhassan Sule Mamudo and made available to newsmen.
According to the statement, the approved working hours are now Mondays to Thursdays from 8:00am to 3:00pm, while on Fridays ot world be from 8:00 am to 12:00 noon.
“This adjustment covers the month of Ramadan (Fasting) only and normal working hours commence immediately after the month of Ramadan” the statement explained.
