Sarah Abu Lebdeh, 26, faces three charges: threatening violence against a group, using a carriage service to threaten to kill, and using a carriage service to harass or cause offence.

Newspot previously reported that a video, filmed on an anonymous online platform, showed Ms Abu Lebdeh and another man, Ahmad Rashad Nadir, allegedly bragging about refusing to treat Israeli patients and making violent remarks.

Authorities say the footage appears to have been recorded inside Bankstown Hospital, where both individuals were employed before being suspended.

New South Wales Police Commissioner Karen Webb called the charges a “significant breakthrough” in what she described as a complex investigation involving an overseas witness.
