The trio safely navigated their way through the first phase of the competition, earning automatic qualification for the knockout phase to swerve the play-offs which will conclude this week.
United and Tottenham are both enduring miserable Premier League campaigns with winning this competition their only hope of qualifying for the Champions League next term.
Europe has provided some comfort for the two English sides this season, finishing third and fourth respectively in the initial league phase behind Lazio and Athletic Club.
Rangers left it to the final day to book their place in the top eight, with a 2-1 win over Union St.Gilloise securing their place.

Teams that finish third (United) and fourth (Tottenham) will be drawn against the winners of the knockout phase play-off ties involving the 13th, 14th, 19th and 20th-placed teams.

AZ Alkmaar earned a hard-fought 2-2 draw with Galatasaray away from home which was enough for a 6-3 aggregate win after their superb first-leg performance.
