Manchester United will look to get back to winning ways when they hostNottingham Forest in Premier League action this evening.
Ruben Amorim suffered his first defeat on Wednesday at Arsenal with the United boss showing that night squad rotation will be a big feature going forward.
Amad Diallo, Marcus Rashford and Joshua Zirkzee all starting on the bench despite all starring in the 4-0 win over Everton last weekend.
Alejandro Garnacho started on Wednesday but a quiet display did little to justify him keeping his place this weekend.
Amorim meanwhile will have a decision to make up top with Rasmus Hojlund also struggling to make an impact, albeit with little help isolated up front on his own for much of the game in north London.
United will have Lisandro Martinez and Kobbie Mainoo available again after serving suspensions midweek.
Amorim admitted at his press conference on Friday Bruno Fernandes was ‘very tired’ after the Arsenal game but even amid plenty of rotation, the skipper will surely keep his place in the side.
Leny Yoro meanwhile came off the bench to make his competitive debut having recovered from the fractured metatarsal suffered in pre-season.
The teenager showed moments of real promise, dropped into a role on the right of the back three to deal with the one-on-one threat of Leandro Trossard.
While Amorim has stressed the importance of exercising caution with those returning from injury, Yoro will hope for more minutes this weekend.
Victor Lindelof meanwhile has resumed training but will not be considered for selection this weekend with the Europa League trip to Viktoria Plzen next Thursday a more realistic target for the Swede.
Luke Shaw meanwhile is facing another spell on the sidelines.
The England international came off the bench to slot in on the left of the back three times under the new manager but a hamstring issue has disrupted the manager’s plans for him with no real timeline for his return as of yet.
Jonny Evans also remains sidelined.
Predicted Man XI to face Nottingham Forest
Onana, Mazraoui, de Ligt, Martinez, Amad, Mainoo, Ugarte, Dalot, Rashford, Fernandes, Hojlund
