Why Business Ventures in Nigeria often collapse and fold up regardless of the efforts put in by the owners? By Wumi Akintide ( Video)

Nigerian Problem of endemic Corruption and Dishonesty in high places and in every fabric of our nature are more responsible than a moral purging of Conscience as brilliantly advanced in the video you are about to watch.

The great Oonirisa Okirikiribiti Jigbini bi Ate Akun, Arole Oodua, Oba Babatunde Adeyeye Ogunwusi Ojaja the First who is currently on a business trip to China, has just launched a monumental modern Mall named “Ojaja Park” at Akure the Ondo State Capital.

It is a Business Venture valued at billions of Naira to cut a long story short.

It is an investment that the charismatic multi millionaire royal father could easily have carried to either London or New York or Paris or Atlanta or Tokyo or Shanghai or Dubai like his other fellow Nigerian multi millionaires would have done because they always prefer to
improve the economy of other countries rather than their own out of ignorance or due to so much greed.

His Imperial Majesty has instead chosen to invest all of his money in Nigeria but more so in the Oodua Republic that he presides over as the most senior royal father representing the progenitor and founding father of the whole Yoruba Race scattered all over the Universe from the rolling mountains of Brazil to the Prairies of Cuba and the Caribbeans and to the great Oyotunji Village in South Carolina.

I am planning to share in the joy of the initiative in Akure by buying a property in the Plaza which is twice the size of the Green Acre Mall in New York or half the size of the biggest Roosevelt Mall in Long Island, New York and arguably half the size of “the Mall of Asia, the biggest Mall located in Metro Manila in the Republic of the Philippines in the Pacific Region of the World.

I am able to make all of this comparative analysis because I have been a frequent visitor to all of these Malls as a frequent flier and somebody widely traveled to all parts of the six continents.

While I applaud the Kabiyesi for all of his patriotic and progressive ventures and ideas, I am traumatized and worried sick that the young Emperor’s hopes and aspirations for embarking on those projects could be dashed or sabotaged by the sheer corruption and dishonesty of those hired to manage and to sell the properties to the Public just like all Government and private Enterprises like Aladja Steel Complex in Warri, the Aleme Alesa Refinery in Okrika in Rivers State and the Ajaokuta Rolling Mills in Kwara or other Businesses established by Business Moguls like Ogbeni Oja Pa Adeola Odutola of Ijebu Ode and other Businesses in Nigeria established by individuals like late Alhaji Dantata of Kano not to mention other prominent individuals like Otedola, Michael Adenuga, late Subomi Balogun talk less of Aliko Dangote, the richest man in Africa.

I am writing this article to nudge the Kabiyesi to pay particular attention to how his new Park in Akure and the others he is planning to establish in other state capitals of the Southwest, are going to be run and managed.

The whole edifice can collapse, if the Kabiyesi does not learn some useful lessons from the sad experiences of Aliko Dangote in particular who once confessed in a Social Media Interview that he has had to rely on hiring Indians in particular and other foreigners to help manage all of his Businesses rather than relying on Nigerian Bureaucrats and Technocrats all because of the honesty and the Work Ethics of those Indians and foreigners.

The inclination and the propensity of Nigerian employees to get rich quick at the expense of the owners of the Business could easily ruin the Business and cause the owners to regret ever embarking on those Businesses.

Our people are just too corrupt and damn too dishonest and untrustworthy.

They ought to be closely monitored by the owner, if he wants the Business to succeed.

I am writing this article not because I have seen any warning signs that the Kabiyesi needs to worry about right now, but I have seen a few of my friends who, like me, are planning to buy some properties in the Ojaja Estate in Akure and other places close to their Home Base in Nigeria as they all live abroad.

They are all planning to buy those properties in foreign currency whose rates fluctuate and can lead to people trying to take undue advantage of such purchases running to millions of Dollars.

I like Kabiyesi the Oonirisa Ojaja the First who once agreed to be the Keynote Speaker and the Special Guest of Honor at my Book Launch at the Federal University of Technology Akure in 2019.

The ceremony had to be postponed due to the Covid Epidemic in Nigeria.

I owe the Kabiyesi a debt of gratitude and I am praying to God for his Park Project in Akure to succeed. I seize this opportunity to thank my Cousin Justice Oluseye Faloye who linked me up with the Kabiyesi who agreed to honor me by personally attending the Launch of my Book titled, The “Voice of reason”

The huge Mall in Akure is a worthy investment that can boost the employment potential of the State Capital and help to stabilize and promote the Economy of the State in general.

We all must rally round the Kabiyesi and I offer to become a Whistle Blower to preempt any development that could lead to the failure of the Huge Industrial Complex and Investment.

I have voluntarily offered myself to play that role for him free of charge.

The video below has done the job better than I can ever do it. But where I have a little disagreement with the young man in the video is where he claimed that putting God- fearing people in a responsible position in Nigeria could be the ultimate solution to the problem he has identified. In other words he is putting his Christian spin on his conclusion which I am not so sure is correct, given what we all know today about so many fake prophets who are now two for a penny in Nigeria if you see what I see.

One of them Prophet Marcus Tibetan of the Celestial Denomination was alleged and cited in a fraud as the intermediary who has helped one Mrs. Akintomide a Church member swindle a young man of his life savings of 71 million Naira to buy a piece of land next door to the Aliko Dangote Refinery in Lekki Peninsula in Lagos.

Up till now and it is almost going to 2 years, no plots of land have been delivered and there has not been a refund of one kobo to the young man as revealed by Asabe African TV on YouTube where all of the information came from. I am only reporting the story unvarnished.

So please don’t tell me some “Bull Shit” about some God- fearing employees or employers in Nigeria. They are nowhere to be found.

I therefore encourage all of you to watch the video from the beginning to the end and to give the general public a feedback with your comments, if you please.
