A newly wedded bride’s excitement turned to dismay upon discovering a torn and tattered ₦200 note enveloped as a wedding gift.
The newly married woman @vek2toria revealed she was going through the envelopes her guests gave her on the wedding day.
She was stunned to learn that one of the wedding presents was a brown envelope that, unexpectedly, had an old and frayed ₦200 note.
The woman was disappointed and questioned how a visitor could present torn cash to a newlywed couple.
The ₦200 note appeared torn, with rough edges and cello tapes used to keep the currency intact.
Internet users claim the torn Naira note is diabolical, particularly for a couple, newlyweds starting their married life.
Many shared similar experiences and how guests leave empty envelopes on their wedding day.
