A Nigerian man and father of four beautiful children shares his story online, using it as a lesson for couples who are currently unable to conceive a child of their own.
The father, Arinze Uzoagu advised couples to love and support each other during their difficult period instead of blaming the lack of children on either party.
He explained that he and his wife, Chinaza had tried for several years to bear a child but were unsuccessful. It wasn’t until 6 years later in 2022, that they were finally welcomed quadruplets.
In his words;
“Just like parenting, the infertility journey is a team work,
In football, when a player is sent off during a match. The rest of the team finds a way to cover the gap left by the missing player.
Support your partner during that rough period of childlessness, show love to each other, encourage each other.
Like my father will always say or joke ‘the only thing without a metakwality is death’.
Infertility or lack of children is just a phase….a passing phase that has an end.
The end is that in one way or the other, your own children will surround your table. Just Believe.”
