Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State visited LEA Primary and Junior Secondary School in Kuriga over the weekend, where over 180 students were kidnapped by bandits and regained their freedom after two weeks in captivity.

The governor was warmly received by enthusiastic students, teachers, and appreciative community members.

Governor Sani reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to the safety and security of the students all over the state, assuring the students that his administration was doing everything possible to ensure they study in a conducive atmosphere for a better future.

Uba reiterated, “We will do everything possible to ensure that you learn in a safe and secure environment.”

The governor also inspected the recent remodelling work at the school, which has been upgraded with modern facilities and assured of his determination to make learning a top priority in the state.

He expressed satisfaction with the quality of the work, noting that it was executed to specification and of high standard.

The visit was considered a significant morale booster for the students, who have moved past the trauma of their abduction and are now focused on their education and better their future as leaders of tomorrow.
