As the Nigerian political space begins to heat up ahead of the 2027 elections, a campaign poster showing Bukola Saraki as presidential candidate has surfaced online.
The poster had Saraki as presidential candidate and Peter Obi as his running mate.
The campaign poster was tagged: “Let’s restore our country back, come 2027.”
Saraki, a former Senate President is a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, while Obi is still a member of the Labour Party, LP.
Obi had defected from the PDP to the LP during the build-up to the 2023 presidential election.
However, both Saraki and Obi are yet to officially declare any intention to contest the 2027 presidential election.
The authenticity of the poster cannot be confirmed as of the time of filing this report.
