Hundreds of the Nigeria Police Force Operatives have been deployed across major flashpoints in Abuja as the Hunger Protest reaches climax today, Saturday.

Newspot observed that the police and other security operatives increased surveillance in the Nation’s capital on Friday evening.

Major entry points to the Eagle Square, Federal Secretariat, National Assembly Complex, Supreme Court and Presidential Villa located around the Three Arms Zone, have been flooded with several security checkpoints.

This was also the case around major roads leading to the MKO Abiola Stadium, the venue originally designated for the protests tagged #EndBadGovernance.

This comes as the organizers of the protest on Friday vowed to carry out a one-million-man march in all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja, to climax the demonstrations.
