Day seven of the Paris 2024 Olympics has begun with Team GB hoping to add to their ever-increasing medal haul.
All three of Great Britain’s medals on day six of the Games came courtesy of the rowers at the Vaires-sur-Marne Nautical Stadium.
That left GB fourth in the medal table with 20 captured so far in the French capital. USA have the most medals with 37 but China have the most golds, 11 compared to the Americans’ nine.
It’s time for the stars of the athletics world to showcase their talent with events beginning at the Stade de France from 9.05am.
British sprint star Dina Asher-Smith will be in action this morning before finals in gymnastics, sailing, archery and equestrian take place in the afternoon.
Gold medals will be handed out at Roland Garros this evening while several popular athletics event take place, including the men’s 10,000m final.
