Spain teenage sensation Lamine Yamal gave fans a little too much insight into the team’s dressing-room celebrations after the Euro 2024 final win over England.

Spain became the first nation to lift four European Championship trophies as Luis de la Fuente’s side outclassed England in the final in Berlin.

England have made a habit of mounting comebacks at the Euros and sensed a repeat when Cole Palmer cancelled out Nico Williams’ opener with 20 minutes remaining.

But Spain were the better team throughout and regained the lead late on through substitute Mikel Oyarzabal before seeing out the game relatively comfortably.

Yamal, who turned 17 the day before the final, went on Instagram Live as Spain celebrated their win in the dressing room but amid joyous scenes of dancing and downing pints also filmed some of his team-mates naked.

Over 500,000 people were watching the stream at one point but fans got more than they bargained for with one player’s backside on full display and another narrowly avoiding exposing himself.

The teenage sensation enjoyed a brilliant Euro 2024 campaign, setting up four goals and scoring once, and was named the young player of the tournament.

‘I am very happy,’ the Barcelona starlet said. ‘This is a dream.

‘I’m looking forward to returning to Spain and celebrating with all the fans. It’s the best birthday present ever.

‘When England equalised, it was difficult. I don’t know what this team is made of, but we always manage to get back up.’

Spain World Cup winner Juan Mata, meanwhile, heaped praise on Yamal and revealed what Barcelona legend Xavi told him about the winger.

‘I was having dinner yesterday with Xavi and he told me he hasn’t seen a player of this quality, and he played with Messi,’ Mata told BBC.

‘I don’t like to make comparisons between players or compare them with Messi but I think the sky is the limit for this kid.’

While Spain celebrated a fourth European Championship victory, the wait for a major trophy goes on for the England men’s team, who have now lost back-to-back Euros finals under Gareth Southgate.

‘I think Spain were the best team in the tournament,’ the Three Lions boss said. ‘We didn’t keep the ball well enough.

‘We were in it until the last 10 minutes. I’m devastated for everyone. We have just fallen a little short.

‘We had a little bit of momentum in the game at that point [when Cole Palmer equalised]. There’s a big chance at the end to equalise too but across the 90 minutes, I’m not sure we did enough.

‘Spain press well and you have to keep the ball when you win it back. In the end, that’s the bit that takes more out of your legs.

‘I think the players will take enormous credit for getting us to where we did but when you’re as close as that, you have to take your chances.

‘They have represented the shirt with pride and haven’t been beaten until the very end. I just think tonight Spain had more control of the game.’

England captain Harry Kane added on BBC Radio 5 Live: ‘Another tough moment for the team and for me personally.

‘A tough tournament physically and mentally. You get so close to the highest of the highs, the pinnacle of our careers, now everyone is at the lowest of the lows.

‘We haven’t found a way to win that trophy and it is going to hurt for a long time.’
