A former presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, has claimed that embattled former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Alison-Madueke, had a yacht she rented out to prominent people including American billionaire celebrity couple, Jay-Z and Beyoncé.
Sowore made the claim in the teaser of Chude Jideonwo’s upcoming documentary ‘Is It Your Money?: The Story of Diezani Alison-Madueke.’
He said, “All the revelations that came out of the Diezani story by now, should have become a movie. Buying a yacht with the money of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and riding it around and renting it out to Jay-Z and his wife, Beyoncé. I think that is more brazen.”
Alison-Madueke served as Nigeria’s petroleum minister between 2010 and 2015 under former President, Goodluck Jonathan.
She is currently facing multiple corruption charges both at home and abroad.
