BREAKING: SGF summons Labour to emergency meeting over strike

The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SFG, George Akume has summoned organised labour to an emergency meeting following the ongoing indefinite nationwide strike.

Comrade Festus Osifo, President of the Trade Union Congress of Nigeria confirmed the meeting to The Nation on Monday.

According to him, labour leaders comprising the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC and TUC were heading to the SGF office for the meeting.

“Yes, we are heading there now,” Osifo said.
