Audit Planning: Assist in the development of audit plans, including risk assessment, scope definition, and audit objectives.2. Fieldwork Execution: Conduct detailed audit procedures, including testing of controls and substantive testing, to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and the accuracy of financial records.3. Documentation and Reporting: Prepare comprehensive audit workpapers documenting audit findings, conclusions, and recommendations for improvement. Present audit findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders.4. Compliance Monitoring: Review compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations. Identify areas of non-compliance and recommend corrective actions.5. Process Improvement: Collaborate with management to identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancement. Provide recommendations to strengthen internal controls and mitigate risks.6. Follow-up and Monitoring: Track the implementation of audit recommendations and ensure timely resolution of identified issues. Monitor the effectiveness of corrective actions taken by management.7. Training and Awareness: Provide guidance and support to staff on audit-related matters. Conduct training sessions to enhance awareness of internal controls and audit best practices.8. Audit Committee Support: Assist in the preparation of materials for audit committee meetings and participate in discussions as necessary.Qualifications and Skills:– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.– Professional certification (e.g., CIA, ACCA) is highly desirable.– Minimum of 5 years of experience in internal auditing, external auditing, or related field.– Thorough understanding of auditing standards, principles, and practices.– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.– Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
