The incident occurred at around 5:15pm on a road outside Schaftlarn, a town to the south of Munich.
The driver of a grey Renault wanted to turn left onto the motorway slip road and collided with an oncoming black Mercedes Vito, which were transporting Kane’s children.
It’s understood that three of Kane’s children – Louis, 3, Vivienne, 5, and Ivy, 7 – sustained superficial injuries and were taken to a nearby hospital in an ambulance. Kane’s fourth child, Henry, was born in August.
The Renault was driven by a 20-year-old woman and she was travelling eith a three-year-old child and two adults aged 43 and 48.
A 62-year-old woman was driving a Land Rover which was also involved in the collision.
In total, eight people were taken to hospital for treatment.
Kane, meanwhile, was arriving in London for the first leg of Bayern’s Champions League quarter-final tie against Arsenal.
The striker, who joined Munich for an initial €100 million (£86.4m) fee last summer, scored a penalty in the first half before the game ended 2-2.
Speaking about his decision to move to Germany after Bayern’s draw with Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday evening, Kane said: ‘I’m really enjoying my experience in Germany and it was a step that I needed in my career for a fresh stimulus, a fresh challenge and new surroundings, new stadiums, new teams and I’m really happy that I made the move.
“Of course, I know how big the Premier League is, I played there for so many years before and my future is at Bayern Munich.
‘I have a four-year contract, I’m really enjoying it, hopefully I will be able to make something special happen this season.
‘But if not, I’ll be ready to go again in the summer and turn things around. It’s been a disappointing season in the Bundesliga mainly compared to what Leverkusen have done. You have to give them credit and respect but Arsenal was a chance to show our togetherness and we’ve done that.’
