Job description: Job Description:Our client, a leading Mechanical and Electrical Contractor within the Construction Industry, is looking for a mechanical engineer to join their team.Job Responsibilities:Excellent interface with building contractors and other sub-contractors on site.Report changes, variations, and site instructions to the operation manager.Carry out planning for procurement and raise procurement requests to the P&L department.Read drawings, set out systems, and interpret drawings to workers.Manage the site supervisors.Prepare material technical submittals.Prepare technical and progress reports.Drive conformance with health & safety rules within your teams.Follow health and safety procedures, including wearing of personal protective equipment,Not tampering with or misusing safety equipment, devices, or any other company propertyReport any identified defects and potential hazards in the workplaceInform your Supervisor/HSE Representatives/HSE Officer or QHSE Manager of anyobserved workplace injury, illness, and incidents.Promote the organization’s positive health and safety culture.RequirementsMinimum of B.Eng in Mechanical Engineering or related field.Minimum of 5 years working experience.Good working knowledge of AutoCAD.Good working knowledge of Engineering drawing and measurements.Excellent working knowledge of plumbing and fire systems standards & codes.Excellent working knowledge of plumbing and fire system installation principles.Excellent knowledge of project management principles and practices.Good People skillsEffective communication skillsTime management skillGood leadership skillsAbility to meet job deadlines.Excellent planning, organizing, and problem-solving skills.
